It has a steel construction for quality and durability. Blade cuts approximately 3/4" from the seal line. Long Hand Impulse Sealer is easy to operate, simply set the timer, insert the bag between the sealing bar and press down on the seal bar. For the best quality seal, hold the seal bar down a couple of seconds after the light goes off before resealing. Then, slide across the bag while holding the seal bar down to cut the bag.
